New Order

I managed to get my hands on a burned advance copy of New Order's forthcoming album Waiting For The Siren's Call. The person who gave it to me said it was pretty horrible, to which I replied, "worse even than Movement?"

After an initial listen, I can't agree. Although it isn't as good as Get Ready, their last album, Movement has not lost it's title as New Order's worst album, in my mind. If anything, Siren's Call kind of reminds me of Republic, with a bit more in the guitar department. I'll give a full review (maybe) when I actually buy a copy on April 26^th.

it's on my Must buy list... :) and, i'm crushing hard on old Bernard Sumner. New Order was on THE ALTERNATIVE on vh1 classics last sunday... *swoon*
