Traffic disruptions

joi_division was too tired to drive me home tonight, so I took the bus. It turns out that they've started tearing up Carson Street in ernest, as it was two lanes from Smithfield to Arlington and then down to one lane from there to 7^th street. It took the bus ten minutes to traverse just that section of road - what is usually a two-minute drive. It was good that Joi wasn't driving me home; her good mood would have quickly waned in this situation.

Whoops- we'll be going the other way from now on then.

And it wouldn't have ruined my mood- I would have just fallen asleep behind the wheel... ;)
