Rock & Roll!

Personally, I think that it's about time someone made a computer game other than Simcity that appeals to geeks such as myself. I refer, of course, to music geeks. The computer game, entitled Rock Manager allows you to take on the role implied by it's title. You get to be a sleazy, slimy music industry type, raping the dreams of fresh-faced musicians and scheming to make millions. From where I sit, this looks like jolly good fun to play out in a virtual scenario (and probably a good reminder as to why one should keep a D.I.Y. mentality if one wishes to enter that business we call "show"). I doubt they'll make a MAC-OS version though, so I'll have to see if I can lean on one of my Windows-using friends.

Know your rights

A few weeks ago I visited the American Civil Liberties Union website and placed an order for five copies of their "Know Your Rights: What To Do If You're Stopped By The Police, The FBI, The INS, Or The Customs Service" pamphlet. The package containing the pamphlets came in just yesterday. Us radical left-wingers can't be too careful in these times, you know.

By the way, if you want your own copies, you can just do to the ACLU website and fill out a form to request them. They're free, so why not.
