Three credit hours and counting...

I tried logging in to the student server so I could register for the course I know isn't closed yet that I need for gen ed. Also, it'd be nice to know which professor I need to email for another course that is closed that I need for my major. Anyhow, I've got all the info I need to log on and as soon as I click the link to get in, a page pops up telling me that SUNY Potsdam is having internal server problems. One moment, please...

Awake

Would you believe that I just woke up? That makes for a total of over eleven hours sleeping, as I went to bed around 5:00AM, and it's a little after 20 past 4:00 in the afternoon now. It's raining outside, very cloudy, but cool and quite comfortable. I've repaid part of my massive sleep debt, but I doubt I'll be in bed anytime before midnight tonight.

It's Thursday...that means open mic at The Fields this evening. I think I'll go get dinner there and then play a couple of songs. Just maybe...

Sing us a song to keep us warm...

I did go to Strawberry Fields this evening. My friend was working there so we bantered for a while. I played a few songs on the piano in the coffeeshop. I could have sworn I heard some prat call out, "boo," very quickly. Apparently the ignoramus didn't realize that such things only cause me to play with more determination. Heckling an open-mic performer is about the most juvenile thing someone can do in that situation. I'd like to see this prick come up on stage and play something, but I doubt that he has the talent or the brain capacity to do so. Other than that one incident, all went as expected.

I now find myself at WAIH, ripping what remains of the archives. I've gotten through Z and now only the soundtracks and compilation albums remain. Easy stuff - most of those songs were already ripped from other albums.

Ugh - right now my body keeps flipping between feeling sick and feeling alright. I hope it makes up its mind to remain in the latter soon. END TRANS
