From the file marked, "grasping onto straws," it seems that someone has spotted an image of the Virgin Mary in a stain on the wall of a highway underpass. You too can witness this miracle of road salt, highway grit and rainwater merely by taking a trip to the interchange of West Fullerton Avenue and The Kennedy Expressway East (I-90/I-94) in Chicago. There, you would see a stain that actually looks nothing like the Virgin Mary and you would feel like a fool for making the trip when it was obvious from the news photos that there was nothing special about this stain. Then again, if you can get a good laugh out of the zealous freaks who have built shrines under the highway, then your trip wouldn't have been a total waste. Right now, I'm waiting for some enterprising zealot to start selling grilled cheese sandwiches nearby (you never know which one will get the Virgin burn).
