New music from Gorillaz
May. 5th, 2005 12:22 amAfter being teased by the video for the insanely catchy single "Feel Good Inc.," I finally have some more information on the forthcoming Gorillaz album. Hopefully Virgin records isn't dropping the ball on promoting this disc, as "Feel Good Inc." could easily become the single of Summer 2005. The fact that it took so long for any info on the album to get out does make me wonder.
In any case, according to Allmusic.com, the CD will be in stores on the 24th, meaning I will be there as well to pick it up. A review from Amazon.com (sadly enough, of all sources - where the fuck are the music mags?) states that the sophomore album from the side project for members of Blur and Cibo Matto will feature performances by De La Soul ("Feel Good Inc."), DJ Danger Mouse and Shaun Ryder (you know, the E-popping, heroin-addicted jackoff from 24 Hour Party People who fronted the Happy Mondays and then Black Grape after the Mondays disintegrated).
