Weekend update

I didn't feel quite kosher marking this post as a recording update since I didn't do any recording. I did play with the effects on existing recordings - ad nauseum, I might add - and the fuckers still don't sound the way I want them too! Anyway, I did that and burned a demo for oneirophrenia, who is probably curious as to what awful racket I've been making for the past several months (f-art noise that I have dubbed The Forever Syndrome).

Ye olde Steel City has been suffering a heat wave for the past week. This alone doesn't bother me, but today the heat has joined forces with a sticky, nasty, ballsack-molesting humidity. I had planned on seeing the Drive-By Truckers for free at the Art's Festival this evening, but now I'm having second thoughts. The Weather Channel is saying that if the heat and humidity don't kill me, the violent thunderstorms that are supposed to roll in around 6:00PM will.

I love live music, but between the crowd and the wrath of a PMS-ing Mother Nature, I'm starting to think that joi_division and I should go out for a movie in a nice air-conditioned building. We've still yet to see the latest Star Wars flick and The Goonies is playing at The Oaks tonight and all through next week.
