I had a very productive studio session today. I laid down the vocal tracks and remiked the drums for a song entitled, "Conversation," which I've been working on for the past month. In the third chorus, I sound pained, but it really didn't hurt to sing it. I hate to say so, but I suspect that this may be the most Morrissey-esque song I've ever written.

I know I'm unlovable, you don't have to tell me.

I also did some vocal tweaking on a neat little synthpop number that I'm placing smack-dab in the middle of The Forever Syndrome as a huge middle finger to everyone who thinks all synthpop is crap. Then again, people who think that way don't buy my albums anyhow because I play the dreaded keyboard. Fuckers.

I've been mentioning songs and the occasional song title for months now. I'm tempted to post a track listing for The Forever Syndrome...

But I'd rather keep people in suspense - all three of you who actually give a shit.
