Who needs a-fixin'?

I really do believe that society is completely fucked in the head at times. Here we are, as a species, crying and whining about wanting to get our own way, yet most of us are simultaneously trying to control the lives of others. Isn't that what the morals taught in most religions are for: keeping people in line? Because, we all know that a simple "be decent to thy neighbour" won't put certain people in their place who need to be put in their place.
