I think I'm becoming one of those people I hate...

Today The Asian Goddess and I drove to Alexandria Bay followed by a trip to Watertown. Yes, I openly admit that Alexandria Bay is a cheezy (z intentional) tourist/resort town, and that the story behind Boldt Castle is more romantic than looking at the actuality of it's snail's-pace restoration, but I don't care. I was happy to just be with her; yeah, you read correctly - I was happy just to be with her. In fact, I've been feeling fucking happy for the past two and a half days.

Mind you, I'm still a cynical bastard, ready to put the assholes of the world in their place if need be, but...

I've been doing it with a smile, rather than a snarl. Anyway, she wants to get me drunk tonight because apparently she has fond memories of me calling her whilst intoxicated. I think she just wants to laugh as I wildly embarrass myself in ways I never would sober.
