Apartment update

This would qualify as the first weekend joi_division and I have actually lived in our new place. We had discussed making it actually livable this weekend, but thus far she's shown the most motivation in that regard. All I've managed to accomplish is to set up the bed in my room (aka: the studio or the guestroom) and throw out a few empty boxes.

Tonight we shall annoy the troll what lives above the parking garage in the basement by taking in a midnight movie at The Oaks. This week it's the uber bad cult film Barbarella, starring Jane Fonda, who will likely never live down the striptease she performed during the opening credits. Still this influence of this film can not be denied when it comes to music; both Duran Duran and Matmos are Barbarella references. Pygar would also make a cool band name, come to think of it. I envision something in the prog-metal genre...

miss Midian and i are procrastinating about going to see BARBERELLA tonight... i mean as a Duran Duran fan that has never seen it... hmmm.... not sure yet.
