New Cure in 2006?

My favourite music eZine, Pitchfork reports that Robert Smith said, "[The Cure] want to start recording in October/November and get it out by my birthday next year, which I know is quite cheesy." There is also mention of a desire to possibly collaborate with Steve Severin again, though it's neither here nor there as to whether this would result in another album from The Glove.
