Insomnia

I set all of my scanning software to run at 4:00AM on the assumption that I would never be up at this hour.

I'm wide awake. One could say that I have chronic insomnia, but I've figured it out: I do not have insomnia, because I am able to sleep. What I have is a different condition entirely wherein I can't get to sleep at night, but lay me down to bed when the sun is rising and I can conk right out. I have some sort of vampirism without the blood-lust. And the cliche makes me retch, mind you.

The girlfriend is in bed right now, apparently sick with what I had (or some variation thereof - I'm still not willing to let go of blaming the cafeteria where I work for trying to kill me). I'm going to join her and see what happens.

I actually like staying up all night, but until there is a shift in my life, let's just say that doing so is...inconvinient.
