Tickets, bastards!

illusionofjoyThe short of it. The girlfriend tells me about a show with two bands we like. I think, "cool, I'll buy tickets for said show." I visit the Ticketmaster website and find that only one band is listed on there as playing at the expected venue on the expected date. I visit said band's website; their gig list makes no mention of venue or date. I visit the other (unlisted on Ticketmaster) band's website. Other band is listed as playing on expected date at expected venue with no mention of previous listed band. I visit the venue's website and get a 404 error.
Yeah, blow me. *disgusted*
