I have been having chest pain and shortness of breath since Wednesday afternoon. Since it hadn't subsided by today, I took a trip to the emergency room this afternoon. Long story short: I'm not suffering from heart troubles or pneumothorax - all my tests came back normal and I'm otherwise healthy. What the doctor told me was one of the things I suspected as the culprit: the symptoms were stress-related, not because anything is physically wrong with me. Thus, I've been prescribed some meds to help me relax and have been told to take it easy for the next few days.

So, in case any of you were wondering why I wasn't going out and living up the "rock star" lifestyle tonight...
