illusionofjoyThe Associated Press is reporting that Barack Obama has chosen Joe Biden to be his running mate. The good news: Hillary Clinton isn't intrinsically locked into the inevitable failure and corruption of the Obama campaign. The bad news: Obama is still running for president over his more experienced peers with the inevitable consequence of making us wait another four years for a real Democratic president.
By the way, I've read some grumblings about how this news was broken before people got their text messages. I didn't sign up to be messaged, namely because I don't want to hear from the Obama campaign (and, Barack, I want my fucking $15 back, you charlatan). In any case, I'm wondering if anyone can verify this for me: did the Obama campaign trick people into padding their calling list, breaking the VP news to the major media outlets before the promised text message? I'm all for slapping the Obama campaign around for their sins, but I want to know the truth about which sins were and were not committed.
