On Thanksgiving...

I know that I come off as a snarky, prickly, cynical asshole...and that's generally because I am. However, I feel that right now I need to show the world a different side of myself - a soft, gentler, more optimistic and more caring side. As such, being that tomorrow is Thanksgiving in the United States, I thought I'd share what I am thankful for.

Here it goes...

Ahem: I am thankful that my people were the conquerors and not the conquered. It really sucks having one's culture slowly obliterated over many decades but coming out on top is freaking awesome! Hooray for pilgrimages, colonisation and manifest destiny! Cheers!
