illusionofjoy | Recap: Cruxshadows blip, all of Ceremony, late night breakfasts

I went to Ceremony last night, catching the tail-end of the Cruxshadows show that went on beforehand. I can't say I'm too impressed with the Cruxshadows - they sound like Xymox warmed over. It's your standard "pop-gawth" fare. Also, those dancers they have on stage with them need some serious fattening! Anorexia is not pretty, even if you do plaster it's ass (if that board could even be justifiably called an ass) in vinyl.

Ceremony was good last night. A strong start with the Cocteau Twins is always a positive omen. I mostly hung out with trhodes and everyday_gray. I also ran into evilkellychan, who got me drunk, which got her hit on in turn. Poor girl.

After the night let out, missjoi and I went to Tom's Diner in Dormont to get some breakfast. Ten minutes of being ignored after we sat down (not even a bloody menu between us!), we left Tom's Diner for the Steak N' Shake in Robinson Township. It took less than ten minutes there for us to place our orders and get served.
