I suppose that there are those out there (wherever that may be) who are curious as to the progress I've been making on Division. The new album is coming along just fine.

Since I didn't have to go to work today, I went to [livejournal.com profile] masochistmonkey's studio. Joe did a lovely reading of the Bill of Rights to accompany "George Bush's" mini speech about the war in Iraq being suicidal in "Our Finest Hour."

I actually got more accomplished than just tweaking existing songs. It only took me three hours to record all of the parts that make up "Still Life (Division)." A creative wave hit me and I decided to become swept up in it.

It would seem that I may actually be able to get Division done by January after all. Being on-schedule like this would probably feel like more of an accomplishment had I not already delayed the release of the disc from October. It's better not to rush though.

good luck with your project.
is it in the same style as the one you released in college?

If by style, you mean synthesized, then yes. Otherwise, I like to think that I've evolved as a songwriter since then. It's a more aggressive album, but I'm not really sure how to answer the question...

Is there a club you frequent that I could send a promo copy to?
