Some real news...

As people continue to die in Iraq (mostly Americans), today's top headline was Condoleezza Rice's testimony on intelligence before and leading up to the terrorist attacks on September 11^th. This testimony was actually broadcast live on NPR today, and I would have listened had I not been at work at 9:00AM. While the text is sufficient in so far as getting the words across, I would have preferred to hear what she said, so as to scrutinize her vocal inflection along with the words themselves.

In any case, I've only starting skimming though this quagmire of a transcript and my initial analysis is, "bullshit...bullshit...bullshit..."

Right, I should learn to be more "nonpartisan." Bush can eat my asshole. I'm sure that there are plenty in Iraq with the same sentiment right about now.

Acutally, I watched her on the news channel yesterday since I had the day off. I must admit she is a very eloquent speaker. I sort of wished I had taped it to show my students in public speaking class. But you're right, it's total BS, at least I think so. I wonder if the and Dubya are having an affair, maybe she is covering up for his dirty deeds.
