Zombie Christ day

Well, kids, it's that time of year again. This is the day when Christ rises from the dead to feed upon the flesh of the living. To this end, we must placate him with Peeps and chocolate bunnies - and even the occasional Cadbury Creme Egg. Let's face it: crucifixion does not make for a happy zombie.

Maybe if they'd laid him upon a bed of plastic grass, rather than that cold stone tomb, but I digress...

I am happy to report that I was 100% successful at giving up virtue for Lent. My soul is as bespeckled as ever. On the down side, I am still waiting for those fast food tie-ins for Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ. I think that today would be perfect for me to chow down on a Christburger or to have a Passionshake. Come on - the hype is there, now where's the crass commercialism? What is this country coming to?

I'm sure Burger King will have the little Kids' Meal Passion of the Christ action figures, with the wriggling hands and feet on the cross.
