The Vatican has issued a statement warning Catholic women against marrying Muslim men. Amoung the arguments in the statement were that women are "the least protected member of the Muslim family," a phrase I find particularly inflammatory coming from a religion so bent on violating reproductive rights in its fundamentalist circles. Also the statement, "urged Muslims to show more respect for human rights, gender equality and democracy." This coming from the religion who brought us The Crusades. Look ma! - It's a dick-wagging contest to see who gets into Heaven!
