Status of the A/C

A conversation with building management on Wednesday:

Me: It's been a while since I last called about getting my air conditioner installed. I am wondering if there is any timeline for this to happen?

Them: It's not installed yet?

Me: No.

Them: Okay, we weren't aware. They installed several units last week and we thought that they had gotten to yours. It'll be in either tomorrow or Friday.

I have just gotten home from staying late at work. My air conditioner, which I purchased nearly a month ago, still rests upon the floor of my apartment, unused. Thankfully the weather has been unseasonably cool as of late, but I know that isn't going to last. I plan on making another phone call on Monday and then every day afterwards that they neglect to actually install my air conditioner.

At least you have an AC unit. Looks like we're not going to be buying one anytime this year. Sucks to be poor.
