This is the happy house

Tomorrow is the day I've been waiting for. It's not that I don't always wait for Friday, but this Friday, as you may be aware dear reader (assuming you actually are a dear reader) is the weekend in which joi_division and I depart from the Steel City to the Motor City to go see Siouxsie & the Banshees! I could just squeal with excitement...

I had been hoping to get all of tomorrow off from work, but as it stands, I was only able to get half a day. You can bet that I will be high-tailing it out of the office exactly at noon, into the waiting car of Joi so that the road trip may begin proper. I may have been putting in obscene amounts of overtime within the past few months, but I officially reclaim tomorrow for me. Hell no, I won't stay!

It's been way too long since I've had any vacation of any sort. This will be refreshing. Hopefully there will be more trips to come...

you are so lucky. i could die, i would give my soul to go much less go with you two... hey! i suggested to joi that we're to have dinner together in the near future, somewhere on the south side. tbd, of course... have a great time! if you see james, my detroit stalker, say hi for me! :)

I would say you should go to Detroit again to see the Australian Pink Floyd Show in November (I'm planning on attending that myself), but it wouldn't be prudent for you: Their tour is going to be making its way to Philly on October 22nd.
