Why is his head so big?
Oct. 24th, 2004 04:19 pmOver the weekend,
joi_division became the proud owner of all three volumes of Invader Zim on DVD. She had already owned the second volume - a lucky find from a shopping trip the previous week - however, yesterday she found the first and third volumes. By late last night, I had watched every episode, along with some of the interviews and commentary tracks. My eyeballs are filled with DOOM!!!
Ahem...
Joi's last day at Highmark was on Friday. I met her after work and she seemed in good spirits, albeit, weepy for those coworkers whom she actually would miss. That evening there was a get-together at a local bar for several of her coworkers who were also moving on to new employment. We stayed long enough to hear the five songs I had selected on the jukebox - a merciful release after someone's Metallica marathon. These days, "Master of Puppets" bring forth a whole new set of images when I think about Metallica, but I digress...
Today I tried to figure out how to get my sound card to gel properly with my recording software. I purchased this equipment not long ago and haven't been able to do anything productive because of a multitracking issue. To put the problem simply, I can't seem to record a new track without recording the contents of any previous tracks laid down. I left a message with
masochistmonkey about this, so hopefully he'll get back to me with some pearls of wisdom.
I haven't written anything "new" lately, as my real desire is to record, which I haven't been able to do, which is vexing...
