From the same guy who brought the world the Emo Game (I and II), one can now play The Anti-Bush Game. Insomniac geek that I am, I just finished the entire thing.

In terms of gameplay, Jason Oda's latest creation follows the same set of rules as his previous ones: you get your set of characters (drawn from real life, pop culture, fantasy, etc.) and blast your way to the conclusion of the game. Wonderful mindless hours of entertainment!

However, Oda has taken the sheer silliness of the first two Emo Games and infused them with a huge dose of politics for The Anti-Bush Game. While he could have simply made another "shoot 'em up," he instead chose to inject mini essays into the game itself, educating the player as to the regressive nature of the Bush presidency. It's as unbiased as Fahrenheit 9/11 (and yes, Michael Moore's avatar does make an appearance), but it's also just as entertaining.
