Morbidly Obese Albert

Robert Kennedy, publisher of "Oxygen" fitness magazine wants the title of the new Fat Albert movie to be changed to "Morbidly Obese Albert," as a reflection of the times we live in. Personally, I think that Mr. Kennedy needs to get a life.

Kennedy says obesity has taken over in the last few years, and he credits the fast food and soft-drink industry as the culprits.

I blame computers, especially when it comes to obesity with young kids. Why are ten year olds coming home from school and plopping themselves down in front of a computer? They should be playing.

When I was 16 and got a computer, I found it a fond change from the annoying kids I could play with (games like popping acid, smoking pot and drinking under age on the railroad tracks).

Now, all of that computer playing has taken me down a path of having a really good job in DC doing computer security work.

If you ask me, I'm proud that in high school I didn't have hardly any friends. After watching them play stab each other in the back all day long while waiting to do their drugs in the evening.

Actually, I wasn't referring to HS at all. My comment was in reference to all of the kid's (as in elementary school) games and what not for the computer that are out these days. I'm not saying computers are bad, but I know plenty of kids who should be engaging in other activities than playing coputer games. I should add TV video games to that as well, which also isn't necessarily a bad thing. Some of them just need to be more mobile, I feel.

I just see and hear about such issues when I am teaching, so that is where I got my two cents from. I didn't mean to offend...

Angel of Obesity?

This has prompted me to consider a change in the name of my music project. Perhaps soon, I shall change the name of my music project from Ruined888 to....MORBIDLY OBESE ANGEL!

maybe not.

Kennedy should huff dong in a highway rest area, maybe I'll be a little too tired in my rig one night and I'll crash into his car whilst he is doing so........
