Sisterhood of the...what?

Not long ago I saw a preview for an upcoming film entitled The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants. Now, I know a bad title when I see one and that clunker definitely qualifies. However, just from what clips of the movie were in the trailer...well, I think the writers of so-called "chick-flicks" are really reaching these days.

joi_division swears that we both saw a trailer for this film in the theatre a while back, whereupon we looked at each other as if to say, "what the hell is this crap?" I honestly can't remember such an event transpiring, though it is possible that I blocked it out.

I think the title could only be worse if it were The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pads. Even without the vulgar name change, the concept seems really flimsy to me - and that's being generous!
