Stealing an election didn't get him impeached. Shirking his presidential duties for excessive vacation time didn't get him impeached. Fumbling the hunt for Osama Bin Laden didn't get him impeached. People barely bat an eyelash as his administration strips away civil liberties and crushes the common person for acts of favouritism towards CEOs. People may whine about what he wants to do to Social Security, but is anybody really willing to put up a fucking fight?

Apparently someone is. Questions have recently arisen about the Downing Street memo and some Democrats are calling for an inquiry into Bush's Iraq policies. Could this be the loose thread which finally unravels the disgusting yet unrelenting canvas of the Bush presidency? I hope so. With nearly 2,000 Americans dead and many times that injured in the sandtrap misnomered as "Operation Iraqi Freedom," Bush and his thugs need to feel some of the heat for a change. Republicans, as expected are apathetic. Seems that not much has changed since Nixon was in office. We all remember what happened to that motherfucker.

I wish we could just have one decent president. I can't believe a blubbering bafoon became president, but my dad said he'd rather a chimp for a president than Al Gore... but Al Gore was on an episode of Futurama. ^.^

Go read that entry in my journal named OMGEE. I think you'll find it entertaining.

Oh, I forgot to mention, my dad also thinks Hillary Clinton will run for the presidency against Condoleeza Rice. I think he's slipping. LOL.

Hillary vs. Condi would be a hell of a line-up, however Hillary would win hands down, for one reason alone: she is white. This country hasn't evolved enough to accept a minority president, and it is still questionable as to whether or not it would accept a female president. Personally, if Hillary ran, I'd be first in line to vote for her. It's telling that her poll numbers completely blow Bush's out of the water. Furthermore, high-profile Republican candidates for New York's senate seat have dropped out, deeming her "unbeatable." Were she to run in 2008, it would be a fascinating race, no matter who she ran against.

If I ever meet your dad, not only will I tell him that Al Gore was the legitimate electee in 2000, but that had he been in office, 9-11 would have never happened.

He doesn't deny that Al Gore should have been the president, he just dosen't like him. I'm not sure that 9-11 would not have happened, but I think if it had, Al Gore would have handled it more professionally.
