I'll admit that I thought performing open mic at Hurley's tonight was going to be more interesting than it turned out to be. The Wood's Tea COmpany, a celtic folk band were headlining, and while they are quite good, they also attracted a large portion of the senior citizen crowd to the usually youthful atmosphere of Hurley's. I had planned a set list that would have cleared the room of anyone over 30, because, well...I'm an asshole. Anyway, it turned out that they all left with the headliner anyway, so I changed my set list and played pretty little piano ballads instead.

And no, my music has never gotten me laid. Pretty piano ballads or not. Pbbbbbbbbt!
