I didn't go to work last night. It was 8:00 in the evening when I decided to call in and say, "I can't come in tonight - I don't feel well. Apologies for the inconvenience." Not that it is truly much of an inconvenience to them, as there are plenty of other wage-slaves to choose from at the company. Still, I try to maintain a demeanour of professionalism.
