Is it a joke? Well, I was laughing: a petition urging Ann Coulter to kill herself. Then again, the thought of seeing the author of Tactless: the church of the neo-con harpy flayed alive always brings a smile to my face.

Sims 2: Pets

Even though it's been common knowledge for several months now, EA has made it official via a press release: The Sims 2: Pets will be the next expansion pack for the franchise. More likely than not, I'll be buying a copy, as I simply can not resist the idea of being able to make a crazy old lady with dozens of cats. However, I won't be making the purchase until 1.) I upgrade the RAM on my computer to it's full 4GB capacity and 2.) the expansion pack has been out for several months already, so that any glitches and bugs that inevitably come with expansion packs will have been patched. I learned my lesson with The Sims 2: Open For Business that patience is a virtue when it comes to expansion packs. A game as complicated as The Sims 2 will inevitably have bugs that weren't found during testing - I just don't want to be finding them in my own game. I'm not paid to test software; I pay to use it.
