It's not the heat...no, wait, it is the heat!

Over the past week, the temperature has been in the 90s with a heat index rubbing against the triple-digit zone like a pervert on a subway car. Of course, I have no reason to complain when I'm in my nice air-conditioned apartment...

...until the circuit-breaker trips. This happened five times yesterday. It seems that the unit is wired in such a way that my room and the living room share a circuit - piss-poor planning on whoever designed the wiring. So, Joi and I are paying extra in rent for the summer months for two air conditioners which we can't keep running reliably in the afternoon. This, amoung other things, is making me want to move.

It stank when I left for work this morning - literally. I walked outside and everything smelled like rotting flesh. The air was thick was thick, moist and just reeked of decay. I wonder if this is what a zombie invasion would smell like?

Anyone in any air-conditioned office building who complains that it is too cold is a motherfucking retard, I might add.
