Starved

We don't have cable at the new place yet, so it isn't likely that I will see the first episode of Starved, a new series on FX which follows four individuals (only one female, strangely enough) with eating disorders. While the show is scripted, the actors who are cast in it actually do have eating disorders running the gamut from anorexia to bulimia. This is supposed to be a dark comedy. I admit to some degree of morbid curiosity, but from what I've read regarding the show, I also feel a bit revolted. It seems exploitive...but then again, what on TV isn't these days?
