Hastert the bastard

Denny Hastert doesn't want to help New Orleans, according to an article in The Nation. In fact, the op-ed goes as far as saying that the liberal-leaning city and municipalities like it are considered expendable to Hastert and his ilk. I don't doubt it. Let's face it: Kayne West hit the nail on the head, as did Michael Moore.

As far as those in office, "compassionate conservative" is an oxymoron. The only people with any true compassion are liberals. The only thing conservative about these assholes is the amount of aid they are sending to what remains of New Orleans...and the amount of preventative medicine prescribed to avoid this kind of a disaster in the first place!

The modern Republican party is a disgusting beast, and the modern Democratic party is no better. I am sick of Democrats allowing themselves to be bullied by a bunch of fat-cat Republicans. It's way past time to fight back for what is right! This disaster is not punishment from God for all of the decadence in New Orleans, as some hard-right motherfuckers would have you believe; this is yet another symptom of the disease clutching this nation in the form of a one-party theocracy!

Denny Hastert: I sincerely hope that someday you know the joy of being holed up with thousands of other people in a sweaty, stinking hell hole callously referred to as a "shelter." I hope you get to know the discomfort of not having an running water or electricity and having to take a shit with no way to flush out the filth. I hope that someday you find yourself chest-deep in water contaminated with feces, gasoline and the diseases of corpses. I hope that someday, you find yourself "punished" for voting and living the wrong way.
