Long weekend: day one

I've caught the cold that's been going around - just in time for my days off from work. So, it's extra orange juice and throat lozenges for me until the cough goes away and my nose becomes unplugged.

Needless to say, I was not in the mood to record any vocals. This really wouldn't have bothered me, except that I was finally able to pen lyrics for a melody that's been running through my head for months. Just last night it all came together - and with a minimum of editing today, there it was!

So, one day down and that's my accomplishment.

Take care of yourself. I've had a cough for over a month (maybe 6 weeks?) and it is just NOT going away. That's the trouble of not having medical... I still think the doc will just give me a cough syrup that won't work.
