Down with the plague

God damn it all! I haven't been able to record any vocals for all of this past week because of this damn cold and the cough that comes along with it. I've been pumping all manner of cough and cold medicines into my system, yet the stupid hacking, sucking sludge clinging to my throat and sinking into my chest cavity just won't dislodge and leave me in peace!

joi_division just asked to borrow my headphones. I'm not listening to or working on music, so I'm willing to bet that she's trying to drown out my body's futile attempts at ridding itself of excess mucus (which may or may not actually exist, seeing as how nothing is coming out when I cough).

I've had it. I'm sick of being sick! Funny thing is, I went to work all week with this disease and next week I have off. If I'm still shredding throat with useless chest spasms by Monday, I'm going to start seriously thinking of going to a doctor.

Have you tried flushing out your sinuses? It's not pleasant, but it works.
