About the bug

I was still feeling crappy this morning, enough so that I thought I might be staying home from joi_division's mother's birthday celebration. However, I felt better by the afternoon and decided to go as originally planned.

I think the medicinal assaults of pills, syrups and drops are finally turning this war in my favour. I look forward to the day when I've stopped coughing completely and no longer have to prevent throat shred with that damn syrup. You know the stuff - it comes out of the bottle looking like highly oxygenated blood and is supposed to be cherry-flavoured by really just tastes like stale maple with a kind of chemical aftertaste that you can't put your finger on, but if you could, you wouldn't.

Yeah, that's the stuff.

If I ever needed to describe cough syrup ever again, I would come back to this page and gank that description up there. That was amusing. Hope the party went well, Phantom was unbelievable!!
