Nudge

When I saw that LiveJournal added a "nudge" feature, all I could think is, "great...a way to encourage an avalanche of posts all saying, "yes, I am still alive." In my opinion, there are already too many people who post and have absolutely nothing to say. Perhaps some use LiveJournal as a way to keep in touch with their friends (i.e.: commenting), but I've always used it as a sounding board for whatever pops into my head. I'd like to think that if someone really wanted to hear from me, they'd email or call.
