The two sides of my life

My new album, The Forever Syndrome was released today. You all should buy a copy. There's just something satisfying about working hard on something for so long to finally see it take flight...and something immediately deflating about having someone tell you that it's a steaming pile. It looks like I won't have any major labels knocking at my door looking for someone to write the first "hit" for their latest creation anytime soon.

Yes, I do wish someone would pay me to play and write music. I have no qualms about admitting this. I'd be a hell of a lot happier than I am with my current paying job, in which the description of my function loosely translates into "whipping boy." I'd elaborate, but they have policies where I work about "blogging" about the workplace. Let's just say that things are bad and not getting better.
