The automation system still isn't fixed. As always, the backup playlist works, but it won't run proper shuffling...like any of this means anything to anyone but us radio geeks. In any case, I came in this morning to find one of the old VCR tapes running (before there was a computer in WAIH, we'd record music to video cassettes because that filled eight-hours of air-time). That was annoying as all fuck, since all the public service announcements and any show promos on those tapes are grotesquely outdated - by well over a year or more, to say nothing of the music or the condition of the tapes themselves.

And now the CD players that I have to use for my show since I can't run music from the computer...yeah, they're acting up too!

I'm so sick of shit not working when it's supposed to. Fuck it all.
