About those pesky song titles...

Foot in mouth disease, anyone? I just scrolled back through my journal entries and I realised that in one prior to the one where I mentioned recording, I did actually mention the title of the song I was working on. So, yes it looks like I do mention titles before recorded versions are officially released for public consumption. However, the song mentioned - "What Might Have Been" - has been played live, so people have already heard it...just not a recorded version. The song I was working on all day today has not been played live...but it will be - eventually. And do I plan on playing live again - eventually. If venues will have me...

I'm actually not working on the recording of "What Might Have Been" at the moment, preferring to let it simmer for a while before I throw more studio wankery at it. Also, at over eight minutes long, it wouldn't make for a very good single. The "Untitled New Song 2" (not the real title) song I was recording today would make a spiffy single.

Yes, I'd like to put a single out this year. That could mean anywhere from April through December. I'm not saying when...yet.
