I just got back from the DJ gig I did tonight, which was quite enjoyable, actually. Once I was there, I didn't have that run-down feeling anymore that I was having earlier. In any case, as I walked back to my suite, I decided to stop by the Union Market and buy a Frappuccino. The thing cost me $3.75 and I finished it in less than two seconds! I think that price is a bit steep for 9.5 fluid ounces. Forty cents per ounce doesn't really sound like much, and guess what - it isn't much beverage-wise.

You are paying for the Starbucks' name. One: I don't care for their espresso, which is the key to all their drinks (aside from the teas and decaffeinated stuff), so I definitely think they're overrated.

Their Frap-things are tasty, but are overpriced and overrated, as well. BUT... that's coffee shops for you. Even mine.

I forgot my Two. Two: Starbucks is our competitor, and their workers are trained in a way that they believe that everything they learn is ALL THERE IS to know about coffee and espresso. BOY could I slap my coworker, former Starbucks employee, across the room because of his high-and-mighty attitude about making espresso drinks and such.
