The attacks of September 11th, 2001 should have never happened. However, an incompetent president and his incompetent staff ignored every opportunity to thwart the attacks and then squandered the goodwill of the world afterwards to wage war in Afghanistan and Iraq. And then things just got worse...

We need change and neither Obama nor McCain can provide it.

Ron Paul in this instance is sounding a lot like Ralph Nader, who spoke at my campus after the 2000 election. What is wrong with the picture is that "third parties" are held under because 1.) Votes are tallied via simple majority, not instant run-offs or candidate ranking and 2.) In all but two states, all Electoral College votes are assigned to the majority winner of the state and not proportionally to the percentage of the popular vote. If these two issues were addressed and reformed, elections would become far more democratic and so-called third parties would cease to exist as the playing field would be levelled for all parties.
