The germ-based theory versus immunity

The temperature has been wildly fluctuating over the past couple of days. I just got over a nasty cold and I really don't need radical and sudden changes in the environment weakening my immune system just so I can contract a brand new nasty cold. So, could the gods do something about stabilising the environment? Thanks ever so much.
