What was that for?
Jan. 11th, 2009 09:30 pmI was at The Smiling Moose last night for the Super Secret Dance Party, as I usually am Saturday night, when, as the night drew to a close, some woman bumped into me. As we turned to face each other, she locked her gaze into mine. She had blue eyes, long straight blonde hair and a slender build and she was looking at me in a way that seemed to be asking, "do I know you?" At the same time I was wondering if I'd met her somewhere before or if she knew me somehow, which was why she kept staring at me.
Moments later, she lightly smacks me on the face and walks away, at which point I watch her fall into the arms of some guy whom she begins making out with.
I'm not angry about the exchange, but I'm left wondering what the hell it was all about. Unless something more profound drops down from the heavens to explain it, I'm going to chalk this incident up to "drunk logic."
In other news, The Moose's pool table is missing the "eleven" ball and one does not realise how much one sucks at Pac-Man until one has to pay for a new game each time.
