Michael Jackson dead at 50

Yes, it's old news now, as TMZ reported it half an hour ago, but I prefer more reliable sources. From NPR:

Singer Michael Jackson, the man known as the King of Pop to legions of fans around the globe, who lived most of his extraordinary life in the public eye, died Thursday in Los Angeles after going into cardiac arrest, sources tell NPR. He was 50 years old.

No comments from me. There will be plenty of those elsewhere from others (and I'll likely ignore them).

Above such comments? Not so much. It's more of a case of everybody else is doing it so why should I? Others have beaten me to the punch so to speak, so it doesn't really serve me or anyone else to write reruns. As such, expect more musings on Kate Bush.
