Barack Obama's plan for sending 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan - just in time for Christmas - is irrefutably stupid. I am completely through with this piece of shit president. Oh, and you Obama apologists should ask yourself this: would you support this action if McCain was doing it? Think long and hard and don't bother to comment if you're going to say something stupid. This "racist, low information voter" had his fill of stupid during the primaries and general election of 2008.

And in case you're wondering, I wouldn't support any possible president pulling this bullshit. Not Barack Obama, not John McCain, not Hillary Clinton.

I'm not an Obama apologist. I voted for him, and I had high hopes, but in fact, he's pissed me off quite a bit since he took office. I'm not entirely sure anymore whether we really are better off now than we would have been had McCain won.

However, I agree with Obama's recent decision to send troops. The previous administration sent troops and then basically abandoned them.

I think we have little reason to still be in Afghanistan even less reason to be in Iraq. It's naive to think that we can just pack up and pull out immediately. When you're stuck in the mud and spinning your wheels, sometimes you need a tow truck to get out. He's not sending these troops on a whim, he's sending them because his generals begged for support.

BUT... if we're not out of BOTH wars in the next couple of years, then it will have been a waste of time, manpower, and lives. I'm going to save being royally pissed off for when the administration lets the "exit strategy" timeline lapse.
