As fate would have it, I am no longer allowed to ask for rides home from any DJ at Ceremony other than [livejournal.com profile] missjoi. It seems that whenever [livejournal.com profile] dj_imperium gives me a ride home, the direct route to Mt. Lebanon is always blocked; i.e.: The Liberty Tunnels and Bridge. Tonight it was both, this time by a major accident on the bridge portion of the right of way. This lead to various failed attempts to find a way to get to my bourough. Understandably frustrated, Imperium exclaimed, "you must have a black cloud over your frizzy head or something - this always happens!"

He then intoned that I would have to take the bus henceforth, to which I gravely replied, "the bus stops running at midnight." I'll forgive him this time for coldly commenting, "then you'll just have to leave at midnight." Of this I am painfully aware, being reliant on Pittsburgh's unreliable mass transit system. There have been many times that I have left Ceremony before midnight in order to be sleeping in my own bed, rather than raped by the homeless as I attempted to walk back to my apartment (approx. 10 miles). If anything, I don't like essentially being blamed for circumstances outside of my control.

Such is life...I hope he was just in a pissy mood and didn't really mean what he said. Now that I've been thinking about it a while (dwelling, perhaps?), that really kind of hurt...

Otherwise, the night was pretty good. The girl actually made an appearance at the club tonight, so I got to dance with her a bit. She bowed out a bit early, another victim of Pittsburgh's mass-transit system.

The rest of my weekend (Friday night) was spent playing SimCity 4. Damn! I love this game...it's so pretty. Though, it is much more difficult to play than its predecessors. The main hurdle is budgeting, which they have made very realistic now. Time and time again I found myself trying to satisfy the civic needs of my municipality only to put my budget into a downward spiral from which there was no escape. Those budgets...they're tricky...

Oh, and I did do some more recording. [livejournal.com profile] masochistmonkey is singing on one of the tracks from the forthcoming album.

Look at me! Look at me! ...marketing crossover appeal. Heh.

But I am just some random person mocking him. I've seen him at Ceremony. He dances like a magickal pixie floating from flower to flower. Tis why I call him "Mr. Pixie". He knows who I am. Everytime I call him that he tells me to fuck off. LMFAO

why don't you just go hang out with close minded prep christians? the whole purpose of ceremony is that it's a place where weirdos can go to be accepted when they can't be accepted anywhere else. You're just like those immature high school fuckheads who make fun of people for being different because they are insecure about themselves. give up pretending to be a goth and put on some fucking abercrombie bitch.

To put it bluntly: I can't be bothered with those who won't be bothered to learn and use my real name. It's called common courtesy, which is something that you may understand as you get older. As long as your maturity level leaves something to be desired, I have no desire to be in your company.
