The Static Age, The River City Rebels and Endicott are playing at Hurley's today with two other bands. The show starts at 2:00 this afternoon. Guess who's up early so he can see these bands (particularly the first listed)?

I just got back from Hurley's. The show today was pretty damn good, but The Static Age was the best group in my opinion. Of course, the 15-year-old "punks" there didn't agree with me, as they are unable to comprehend a band that sounds like mid-era Killing Joke or New Order circa Low Life. As I've said a million times, once I get a band together and take the stage at one of these shows, my mission will be to destroy the "scene" at Hurley's...
